Retest Policy
Can students retest if they do not pass a credit by exam?
Yes, with the following restrictions:
July 1 - September 30 (Students testing in this window cannot retest until October 1.)
October 1 – December 31 (Students testing in this window cannot retest until January 1.)
January 1 - March 31 (Students testing in this window cannot retest until April 1.)
Yes, with the following restrictions:
- Texas Administrative Code states that students may not attempt to test out of a course more than two times and may not retest during the same assessment window.
July 1 - September 30 (Students testing in this window cannot retest until October 1.)
October 1 – December 31 (Students testing in this window cannot retest until January 1.)
January 1 - March 31 (Students testing in this window cannot retest until April 1.)
- The cost of the exam(s) and proctoring are not covered by the district when retesting.
- University of Texas High School and Texas Tech University ISD offer retest versions of their exams. Please note that CSISD will only accept the results of retest versions.
- University of Texas High School Retest Order Form Do not enter a UT EID number. This will be assigned to the student by UT.

- Proctoring can be arranged through Blinn Testing Center or Texas A&M Testing Services.
